Two Decades Behind the Camera. Now Home in San Diego.

I am Sam, and I have spent twenty years learning how light, timing, and trust come together to make a photograph that matters. My background spans fashion, commercial, and portrait work, and that training shows up in every wedding I photograph: refined posing, flattering light, and color that stays true for a lifetime.

I opened Sam Fawaz Photography in Las Vegas in 2011 and went on to photograph weddings across Las Vegas and Los Angeles for couples who flew in from Texas, Florida, Canada, France, Germany, and Australia. They rewarded that work with 28 five-star reviews on WeddingWire, back-to-back WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards in 2017 and 2019, and a Peerspace feature naming me among the best wedding photographers in Las Vegas.

Today I am based in San Diego, photographing weddings from La Jolla and Coronado to Rancho Santa Fe, Temecula wine country, and the mountains of Julian, and traveling wherever your celebration takes us.

A Note to You

If you are reading this, you are probably in the middle of one of the most exciting seasons of your life. Congratulations. I know how many decisions you are juggling, so let me make this one simple.

On your wedding day, you will have one photographer who has been with you since the very first conversation. I learn your timeline, your families, and the little details that matter to you. On the day itself, I guide gently when it helps and disappear when it does not, so you can be fully present while I quietly capture everything.

Beyond weddings, I also photograph engagement sessions, elopements, and vow renewals across San Diego County.
